The Silicon Valley Entrepreneur Basecamp is a no-cost program aimed at emerging Asian American leaders interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact.
During the program, participants will identify the main challenges facing their community, devise solutions for those challenges, develop a prototype, receive mentoring, and participate in a pitch competition judged by a panel of experts
Participants who are part of this program are motivated to solve social or environmental problems and want to learn the tools to design solutions and put them into action.
The program is tailored for Asian American tech talents or PHD/MBA students interested in a career in social impact or launching a social venture.
The workshops focus on defining a problem and designing a solution for that problem during the program.
Each student will meet mentors who will challenge their assumptions, enhance their perspective, and expand their impact.
Participants join a cohort of members with a variety of experiences and a common goal to impact the world.
The basecamp is powered by Ford Fund, Watson Institute and UpHonest Capital.
